In a region where more than 60% of the population is under the age of 25, the need for culturally relevant, biblically sound Christian literature for our youth is more urgent than ever. Inspire Publishing House (IPH) emerged to meet the needs of the next generation, speaking directly to their hearts in their own language.
Founded in Egypt in 2018, as an initiative of IFES MENA, Inspire Publishing House has not only served student movements in the MENA region but has also emerged as a trailblazer in Christian publishing, empowering youth, equipping churches, and partnering with global ministries to distribute gospel-centered literature across borders.
Our Story: A Publishing Movement Is Born
Inspire Publishing House was launched under the umbrella of IFES MENA (International Fellowship of Evangelical Students) as a response to a critical observation: the younger generation in the Arab world had almost no gospel-centered resources written by or for them in their heart language.
Founded by Shaher Luka, a visionary leader within the IFES network, IPH began with a passion to:
- Make discipleship resources accessible and relevant to today’s young readers
- Equip young Christian authors to write with confidence in their unique cultural voice
- Publish global theological works, either originally written in Arabic or translated into Arabic.
What started in a single room with a handful of manuscripts has since evolved into a growing platform for Christian publishing in the Arab world.
